This project is carried on based an unusual concept from the client. Pop Art. Referring to its name, ‘The Black Port’, we purposefully designed the bar as the ‘port’ appeared in black metal, solid and clean. Supporting the idea, (apart from the actual direct view to the ocean) a real ambience of the ocean also apparent by covering the whole area with blue colour. The popping of pop art colors are not excessive, just right to balance the dark and light shade in the cafe. Overall this quirky café matters as a fresh air in the coffee-shop world.
